Hi

just a quick question

we are going on the european wonder tour starting 26 april.

I see it sais thaat you travel through the battlefields of WW1.

I have two great granduncles who fought and died in the war. One is buried in Mendinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium. And the other one is remembered at the Memorial to the Missing of the Somme which is located in France near the village of Thiepval, Picardie.

Im not sure of each days specific break stops or itinerary but would there be any option to visit either of these on this trip?

Many Thanks

Hi Victoria,

Thanks for getting in touch - What a wonderful way to spend ANZAC - you must be very proud of your relatives!

On day three the trip visits the Somme Battlefields which includes the Thiepval Memorial and Museum as well as the trench lines at Beaumont Hamel, the battlefields of Pozieres and the battlefields and memorial sites of Longueval.

You can find more details on our website and pre-departure information here

.

I’m not sure about whether it goes to Belgium, but will let you know as soon as I find out.

Hi again,

Unfortunately we don’t go Mendinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium & the three days of the trip are pretty tight schedule wise.

Please get in touch if you have any further questions.

Hey Victoria! It would help if I read your question properly!

On European Wonder you take a quick drive through some battle fields.

We also have a trip going to the Western Front at Easter if you’re interested: Western Front Easter
