Pre-purchasing Tourist Attraction Entries

#1

Hello All,

I am due to go on the Euopean Pioneer tour next week.
I was wondering if it is wise to book tickets online to tourist attractions
for example Ann frank house in Amsterdam or the Versailles in Paris to
avoid waiting in line for 2hrs etc?

Has anyone done this before?
Any recommendations to utilise time?

Thanks heaps,
Brianna

Definitely purchase your tickets for Versailles. Even though I purchased my tickets there was still a little bit of wait and purchase Ann Frank tickets as well as they are in high demand and you get in straight away when you purchase tickets online. They have time allocations as well so you have to be there at the time you booked for. x

Hey! Just got back from a Euro trip. I already had tickets for Versalilles and it still took about an hour to get in. For the Anne Frank house, i had no idea about times etc so i didnt pre purchase tickets. I ended up checking online on the day and purchased tickets as they re-release tickets online all the time and there were quite a few available even though previously it had said sold out
