Have a look into flights.
Im traveling through Europe for 8 weeks starting in July and have 7 flights booked.
Flights are short, the train involes alot more travel time.
You can get flights cheap around £60 or less have a look on easyjet.co.uk

Ryan Air is also an alternative if you cant find flights you want from easy jet

Definitely fly…if u book in advance or during a sale you can get flights cheaper than fish and chips  That way you can spend all that extra time you saved doing what counts - seeing the wonderful sights Europe has to offer (O and having that pint of beer :D)
